Advancements in AI analytics and image processing have enhanced video camera performance, enabling detection of smaller objects and finer details, and faster response. However, challenges like premise size, lighting, hazard and privacy regulation can arise. In such cases, a combination of technologies proves valuable. Thermal imaging captures heat-based visuals; radar uses electromagnetic wave to track movement in large outdoor areas—both work in low visibility and respect privacy; while audio and environmental sensors add crucial site data. They all provide actionable insights for safety, security, and operational efficiency.
